The Morning After Detox Tonic

Woken up feeling like this?

Ideally, don’t over drink and consider engaging in mindful drinking. However, if you have over-indulged try this Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) detox drink in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Organic ACV

  • 1/2 lemon juiced

  • Large glass of water

Method & Dietary Recommendations

  • Squeeze lemon into water

  • Add ACV

  • Stir thoroughly.

  • Drink in the morning 30 minutes before food.

  • Drink one glass of water upon waking, before the ACV tonic.

  • 30 mins after consuming tonic eat food and ensure a source of protein is included.

  • Avocado does not contain protein! If you’re going the plant based route add a tbsp of pumpkin seeds and some lightly cooked mushrooms.
